Held over the Labor Day weekend, Kingland’s Catfish Festival is a fun event for all the family involving parades, live music, arts and crafts booths, a variety of food stalls, an antiques and collectables fair, children’s amusement area, a fun run, a bicycle ride, a classic car and tractor exhibition, and the popular Lions Club's Pancake Breakfast. Of course, visitors also have plenty of opportunities to try southern fried and Cajun catfish – a particular delicacy here from where the festival takes its name.
People come from all around to see this and many decide to call it home. One of the reasons it was named in the 2007 TOP 100 Cities to live by CNN and has grown to be the 3rd largest city in Georgia, so if you would like to be a part of what is still a great growing city you can Search properties 4 Sale FREE through this link on Kingsland Georgia.
